FESKO - Charlotte Marie, 77. Born in Johnstown on December 3, 1948, her heavenly birthday is December 26, 2025. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Helen (Vasko) Fesko, and sister-in-law, Marie Fesko and nephew, Aaron D. Korenoski. Survived by brothers: David, James, Thomas and Daniel (Martha) Fesko; and sisters, Nancy Fesko and Mary Ann (Joe) Workosky. Charlotte loved her nieces and nephews; Michael (Corrin) Fesko, Julie Korenoski, Jenny (Michael) Blucas, and Greg (Jill) Fesko. Charlotte showered kindness on her great nieces and nephews; Michael, Daniel, Ruby, Vayda, Edye, Joey, Nathan, and Lucas. For 30 years she traveled with them to Brigantine Beach, N.J., for her favorite family vacations. Charlotte was a graduate of Bishop McCort Class of 1966 and retired from the U.S. Government Service in 2008. She started her career with the FAA in Washington, DC; and spent most of her years working for the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. Charlotte loved to travel and her destinations included the beaches of Hawaii and Spain, she walked the Great Wall of China, was blessed by the Pope at the Vatican in Rome, went sky-diving, and she made a pilgrimage with her sisters to research their Slovak roots in Eastern Europe. Charlotte fought a long battle with cancer while living at her home in Alexandria, VA. Last year she returned to her former homestead to be near her family and to be cared for by Jim, Tom, Nancy and Mary Ann. Our family wishes to thank Dr. Monika Pringle, the Trauma Unit, ICU and Palliative Care at Conemaugh Hospital, Dr. Sbeitan and Dr. Reddy and Monica NP, for their outstanding and compassionate care. Rest in Peace Charlotte, now you are flying with the angels, with no more pain. God has called you home. Friends received Monday, December 29, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Resurrection Parish, the Rev. George M. Gulash. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
