Christine (Corella) Wachs

WACHS – Christine, 93, of Johnstown, died Spetember 3, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born July 28, 1925, the daughter of Charles and Edith Corella. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Wachs; brother, Frank; and sisters, Helene, Ann, Mary, Stella and Susan. She is survived by a sister, Helen. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends in Johnstown. She was a member of the Catholic War Vets and Cambria Community. A member of the former St. Stephen Catholic Church and current member of Resurrection Parish where funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Fr. George Gulash officiating. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad St. where vigil service will be held.
