Christopher Davis Obituary

Christopher John Davis, 53, formerly of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 10, 2026, in Teec Nos Pos, Arizona. Born on November 21, 1972, in Tulsa, OK, and grew up in Johnstown, PA. Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Robert William Davis, Jr.

He is survived by his loving mother, Eva Davis; his four sons, Ryan Davis of California, Zackery Davis, Trent Davis, and Lukas Davis, all of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; and his grandson, Levi Davis of California. He is also survived by his siblings, Eric Davis, Bobbi Davis, and Stacy (Todd) Nixon, all of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, as well as his wife Melissa Davis and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 2001 to 2016, dedicating 15 years of honorable service to his country. During his military career, he completed deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan, where he served with courage, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to his fellow Soldiers and the mission. His faithful service was recognized with numerous military honors, including the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with two Campaign Stars, and the Meritorious Service Medal. He took great pride in serving his country, and his military service remained one of the defining accomplishments of his life. His dedication, sacrifice, and love of country will be remembered with gratitude and respect by all who knew him.

Christopher had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished every opportunity to go hiking, mudding, and four-wheeling. When he wasn't outside, he enjoyed spending time at home playing video games. Following his honorable military service, Christopher worked for many years doing ranch work in Arizona, where his strong work ethic and dedication earned the respect of those around him. He will be remembered as a hardworking, loving, and compassionate man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to family and friends will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Christopher's family takes comfort in knowing that he has gone to be with the Lord. His life, love, and the memories he created with those closest to him will remain forever in their hearts. Christopher was a beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m., Pastor Marsha Adams. Military Honors will be presented by the V.F.W. Post 155 Ritual Team.
