STIFFLER – Daniel Dwight, 62, of East Taylor, died May 31, 2023, at home. Born March 7, 1961, in Johnstown. Son of Donald E. and Rose (Kist) Stiffler. He is survived by his children: Rebecca, wife of Maj. Juston Jones; Danielle, married to Brad Deem; Amanda, married to Dr. Elijah Ed; and Jessica Kitzmiller. He was the brother of: Donald “Darl”; David Dwayne married to Lori; Donna Diane, married to Ray Roth; Douglas Dean; Debra Dawn, married to Gary Buksa; and Darla Dee, married to Missy. He was more of a grandfather figure to his many nieces and nephews than an uncle. Danny was a member of the Construction General Laborers’ Union Local 910. He was an amazing father and family man who enjoyed baking cinnamon rolls, “Chuckie” cake, and apple cake to share with his family and neighbors. Danny was a hard-working man. A simple man. Radically generous. Witty. Funny. Stubborn. He had a heart that was too big for his chest. He loved the simple things in life- like a dippy egg, "shit and shingles", and a pepsi.
He was consistent in his word, if he said he would, he would- but if he couldn't he "wasn't making any promises." He was there when we needed him. Even when he knew he didn't even have the resources to help. He knew the answers for anything that needed fixed. Cars, houses, equipment- he could fix it. He was always thinking of others. He would spend his last dollar to buy a friend a sandwich or a hot dog just to show he cared. “I love you more!” “It’s all good!” Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Services are in the care of the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc.
