LUKAS - David E. Sr., “Luke”, 54; Johnstown, passed away on April 15, 2021 at Conemaugh Hospital.  Born November 29, 1966 in Johnstown, son of George and Margaret (Killinger) Lukas.  Survived by parents; wife, Nickie (Penrose) Lukas of Johnstown; children, Elizabeth Lukas, David Lukas Jr., Savannah Lukas and Abigail Fisher; and grandchildren, Blaze and Kaisen Krape; Tyia Penrose and Jazmine Fisher.  A brother of Barry Gates, Daniel Gates, James Gates, Wendy Gates and Karen Nowicki.  A former employee for CamTran and Courier for Conemaugh Hospital.  At the request of “Luke”, there will be no funeral services.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Conemaugh Hospice/ Palliative Care Unit in memory of  David “Luke” Lukas.

So sorry to hear of my nephew's passing, shared many laughs and memories on are fishing excursions on the susquehanna, but may favorite was on slate run we where fishing on one of the deeper pools and having no luck decided to take a break and sit down on the rocks and of to are left a otter came out of its den looked at us dove into the water came out with a trout in its mouth dropped it looked at us as to say that's how its done boys and went back in its den, me and Dave looked
 at each other and busted out laughing. thanks for all the laughs and memories. RIP Dave

So sorry to hear  of the passing of my nephew Dave, we shared  many memories and  laughs on are fishing excursions on the Susquehanna. But my favorite memory was on slate run when  we where fishing one of the deeper pools with no luck so we took a break and sat down on the rocks and right beside us a otter came out of] the den looked at us dove into the water came out with a trout in its mouth dropped it looked at us as to say thats how it's done boys picked it up and went on its merry way me and dave looked at each other and busted out laughing.. thanks for all the memories.
