MALCOLM – David K., Sr., 70, of Connor Towers, Johnstown, PA. passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023, at his son’s home after a long battle with cancer. He was born November 9, 1953, in Johnstown, the son of Harry, Sr. and Irene (Carter) Malcolm. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harry, Jr., Curtis, Rashid, Anthony and Delano; and sisters, Sharon Malcolm and Shirley Nash. Survived by his children: David Malcolm, Jr. (Crystal), Dayva Malcolm, and Rebecca Vuckovich; 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane Malcolm, Andrea King, and Linda (Andrew) Coder. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. David was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to everyone. He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He was a member of the Salvation Army Johnstown Corp since 1985. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, and a former employee of the Holiday Inn. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
