David J. Niel

NIEL - David J., 66; Johnstown, passed away Oct 27, 2023. Born September 6, 1957 in Johnstown, son of David and Marilyn (Gunselman) Niel.  Preceded in death by parents; sister, Michelle Miller; and step-children, Michael Hanik III and James Shumaker.  Survived by son, Anthony Niel of Johnstown; daughter, Kristina Niel of Georgia; grandchildren, Jayden, Liliana, Mia and Jordan; stepmother, Patricia Niel; and stepson Robert Hanik.  A brother of Janice Albert, Sandy Miller, Jody Niel, Wayne Niel and Steve Niel. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  David was a laborer for the Laborers Union Local 910. He was former baseball coach and board member for Lorain-Moxham League.  At the request of the family, there will be no public services.  However, donations may be made to the family in memory of David Niel.
