Dolores Jean Burkardt

BURKARDT - Dolores Jean, 88, of Johnstown died January 19, 2025, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born June 7, 1936, in Johnstown. She is the daughter of Francis and Anna (Denk) Burkardt. Preceded in death by parents; and siblings, Francis J. Burkardt, Anna Marie Schropp, Ruth Riley, Florence Kleinosky, Martha Safko, and Thelma Drummond. Survived by brother, Joseph Burkardt married to Carol (Walkowski) of Johnstown; sister, Magdaline Bunk married to Henry Bunk of New Jersey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dolores enjoyed watching and cheering on the McCort football team and the Notre Dame Football team. She loved and cherished the company of her loving companion Doggie. She was a member of Resurrection Parish. Dolores was a loving sister, and aunt. She will truly be missed by many. Friends will be received Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. (Broad Street). A funeral mass will take place Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, Franciscan Friars OFM, Conv. Committal will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
