Dolores M. (Matten) Opacic

OPACIC – Dolores M., 91, of Johnstown, died July 19, 2022, at the Forest Hills Personal Care Home, Sidman, PA. Born November 5, 1930, in Johnstown the daughter of Charles and Amelia (Pavlovich) Matten. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eli Opacic; and brother, Charles Matten. Survived by daughters, Deborah, married to Edward Zullo, Penn Hills, PA; and Elizabeth Opacic, Johnstown; and grandson Matthew Zullo. Dolores was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church where she was a member of Christian Mothers,  and was very involved in church activities especially with the festivals and making pierogis.  Friends will be received from 9 – 10:30 a.m.  Thursday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Fr. Bernard Karmanocky, OFM officiating. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery.
