Donna H. Stefanik

STEFANIK - Donna H., 82; Johnstown, passed away April 17, 2022 at Laurelview Village in Davidsville.  Born March 3, 1940 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Marie (Saldivar)  Solis.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Anthony R. Stefanik Sr., son, Anthony R. Stefanik Jr. (KIA Operation Restore Hope), and sisters, Rachel and Sally.  Survived by son, Ronald J. Stefanik, and daughter, Teri Maser and her husband Jerry, both of Johnstown; grandchildren, Anthony Stefanik III and Justin Vardian; and great grandchildren, Leo and Geneva.  A sister of Ron Solis, Philadelphia; Anna Marie McKenna, New Jersey; Irma Flores, Philadelphia; Mary Howie, New Jersey; and Millie Ling, Johnstown.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Donna was a Gold Star Mother. She was a retired LPN at the former Mercy Hospital. She was a past member of the Greater Johnstown School Board. She also worked at the Jewelry Counter of Walmart.  She volunteered for Victim Services, Johnstown Association for the Blind and the Area Agency on Aging. She was proud of her work with the PTA and for PAGE.   A member of St. Therese Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Bernard Karmanocky, O.F.M. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.
