Dorothy L. Behe

BEHE - Dorothy L., 87; Johnstown, passed away on October 2, 2021 at home. Born February 12, 1934 in Johnstown, daughter of Andrew G. and Pauline (Bosela) Nosko.  Preceded in death by parents; husband Donald Behe Sr.; and brothers, John, Joseph, Michael and Andrew Nosko.  Survived by loving son, Donald E. Behe Jr. and wife Mary Alice (Fowler), Alexandria, VA; sisters, Mary Louise Babal, Parma, OH; and Margaret Frankhauser and husband Albert, Medina, OH.  Also survived by sister-in-law, Elaine Castine, Mt. Airy, MD; brother-in-law, John Behe and wife Mary, Myrtle Beach, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Dorothy was retired nurse for Lee Hospital; and was a licensed CRNP. She was formerly Head Nurse and ER nurse at Mercy Hospital.  A member of the Retired Nurses Association. She was a former Lady Elk.  A member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Matthew Baum, Fr. James Crookston celebrant.  Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society in memory of Dorothy L.
