Dorothy A. (Hunter) Mucha

MUCHA – Dorothy A., 98, of Johnstown, passed peacefully December 23, 2024, at Forest Hills Personal Care Home. Born December 15, 1926, in West Bridgewater, PA. She is the daughter of Thomas V. and Ella Jane (Dorman) Hunter. She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Andrew; and brother, John Hunter. Survived by daughter, Carol married to Harold Schneck; son, Robert married to Kathleen (Bernat); grandchildren, Michele (Allan) Berkhimer, Matthew Mucha, Annalisa (Jason) Ritchey, and Eric (Teresa) Schneck; great-grandchildren, Carson Berkhimer, Garrett Berkhimer, Hayden Ling, Darren Schneck, and Kaylee Ritchey; and special niece Nancy (John) Brunberg. Dorothy was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She enjoyed spending her time surrounded by her family, hosting family gatherings, and cooking delicious meals for them. The family would like to thank the staff at Forest Hills Personal Care Home and AseraCare Hospice for the amazing care and support they offered Dorothy these last few years. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will truly be missed by many. Friends will be received Friday December 27, 2024, from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 27 at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Rev. George Gulash. Committal will follow at Grandview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Forest Hills Personal Care Home, AseraCare Hospice or a charity of your choice.
