SIDA – Dorothy (Pfarr), 88, of Johnstown, died April 8, 2024. Born September 23, 1935, in Johnstown the daughter of Victor and Marie (Scott) Pfarr. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph A. Sida; and brother-in-law, John Matolyak. She is survived by her loving children: James, married to Leslie (Keyser); Thomas, married to Regina (McMinn); and Karen, married to Thomas Concannon, all of Johnstown; grandchildren: Stephanie (John), Nicholas, Ryan, Jessica, Zoey, and Emma; great-grandson, Roman; brother-in-law, Robert (Rosie) Sida; sister-in-law, Helen Matolyak; and nephews, Alexander (Jill) and Dmitri. Dorothy was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Daisytown and Cover Hill Department’s Ladies Auxiliary. She loved dancing, shopping, traveling and McDonalds. Dorothy was a people person, she loved watching, meeting and talking to people wherever she went. She is also a member of St. John Gaulbert Cathedral where funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Fr. James F. Crookston officiating. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Committal will be held at Oak Cemetery. Adios!
