GREGORCHIK - Edward F., 75; Cambria City, passed away on November 24, 2020. Born October 1, 1945 in Johnstown, son of Joseph F. “Tut” and Catherine (Drzal) Gregorchik. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Walter J. Gregorchik and John Gregorchik. Survived by loving wife, of 53 years, Patricia (Moody) Gregorchik, Cambria City; sons, Gary Gregorchik and wife Penny (Rumpf), Lebanon, PA; and Edward Gregorchik, and wife, Rebecca (Claudy) Wesley Chapel, FL; and daughter, Kenisa Colbert, Northern Cambria. Also survived by grandchildren, Dorie Rumpf, Richard Gregorchik, Connor and Lexi Lesniak, Daniel Gregorchik, Stephen, Andrew and Sara Cole; and 6 great grandchildren. A brother of Joseph Gregorchik Jr. married to Maryann (Hamilka), of Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1963 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School and 1967 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. As a young man, Ed worked at McAllister Bottling Company. He retired as a manager of U.S. Bank and Ameriserv Bank. He was a loyal Pittsburgh Sports fan who enjoyed traveling to various stadiums and arenas for sporting events. Ed was a former baseball coach and board member of Johnstown Boys League; and past treasurer for Bishop McCort High School Hockey Blue Line Club. A member of the Minersville PNA, where he was Santa Claus for many club Christmas events. A member of the finance council for the former St. Casimir Church and for Resurrection Parish. He was a train and automobile enthusiast. Ed was an avid gardener and many admired his beautiful yard. He was creative in many ways and was known for his holiday window displays and home-spun Halloween costumes. He was a Pekingese aficionado and was known as ‘Mr. G’ to ALL of the neighborhood children. Above all, Ed loved his family and enjoyed spending time together on their many family vacations. Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, at Resurrection Parish, the Rev. George M. Gulash. Committal will take place at Grandview Mausoleum. Friends received Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G.
