Edward Matisik Obituary

MATISIK – Edward N., 57, of Johnstown died April 13, 2020, at his home. Born July 18, 1962, in Johnstown the son of the late Robert J. and Betty Louise (Moore) Matisik. Survived by his sister, Holly Matisik along with numerous cousins. Edward was a graduate of Johnstown High School. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Business from Boston University and his Master Degree in Law from American University. Formerly employed for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and worked as the chief statistician for the Johnstown Tomahawks. He enjoyed watching sports Steelers, Penguins and Pirates, he also enjoyed college sports, especially Boston University. At Edward’s request a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery. The family is being served by the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc.
