Eleanor (Brilhart) Martyak

MARTYAK – Eleanor, 94, of Johnstown, died July 14, 2022, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born February 28, 1928, in Heshbon, PA the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Stepko) Brilhart.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nick Martyak; sisters, Dorothy Cummings and Mildred Wilfong; brother, Joseph Brilhart; brothers-in-law, Jack Cummings, Lefty Wilfong, and Jim Jurcevich; and sister-in-law, Erma Brilhart. She was the sister of: Les (Loretta) Brilhart; Gerald (MaryAnn) Brilhart; and Marilyn Jurcevich. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she thought of as her own children and babysat them all. Member of Albright United Methodist Church where she was a member of United Methodist Women; West End Lions Auxiliary; and Rise and Stride Club. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Rev. Josh Knipple officiating. Interment will be held at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
