Elizabeth L. "Betty" (Ditko) Russak

RUSSAK – Elizabeth L. “Betty”, 89, of Johnstown died July 30, 2020, at home surrounded by her children. Born September 11, 1930, in Johnstown the daughter Stephen and Anna (Balaschak) Ditko. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Russak; sister, Anna Marie Gorka; and brother, Steven Ditko. Survived by her children: Diane, wife of Gary Marion, Johnstown; Christine, wife of Richard Locher, Hooversville; John Thomas; Eric; and Richard, all of Johnstown; grandsons: Garett, Grady, Justin and Jamie Marion; great-grandchildren: Payton, Parker, Alayna, G.J., Max, Dimitri, and Mya; and brother, Patrick, married to Joan (Duray) Ditko.  Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where Parastas will be sung at 7 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Monsignor Raymond A. Balta. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery.  The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers of Conemaugh Hospice for the care they gave Betty.
