Eugene F. Ritter

RITTER - Eugene F., 87; Southmont Boro., Passed away October 28, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor.  Born September 9, 1932 in Johnstown, son of Joseph Jr. and Anna (Clark) Ritter.  Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Robert F. Ritter.  Survived by loving wife, of 63 years, Irene (Panchik) Ritter of Southmont; and children, MaryJane Cleveland and husband Bobby of LaGrange, GA and Raymond Ritter married to the former Andrea Csarak of Johnstown.  Also survived by loving granddaughters, Charmaine Dyas and husband Hunter of Washington, DC; and Britni Cleveland of Atlanta, GA.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  An U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War.  Retired Machinist for S&S Shop in Jerome.  A member of the Austrian Hall. A parishioner of St. John Gaulbert Cathedral where Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, the Very Rev. James F. Crookston. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.  The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at Arbutus Park Manor and to the loving and compassionate care of Hospice during Eugene’s time there.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Arbutus Park Manor or to Proclaim T.V.
