Florence "Flo" Gojmerac

GOJMERAC - Florence I., “Flo”, 90; Johnstown, passed away April 8, 2021 at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.  Born November 19, 1930 in Johnstown, daughter of George and Emma (Kovalchick) Zubal.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Thomas Gojmerac; sister, Emma J. Zubal and brothers, Edward Zubal and George Zubal.  Survived by children, Elaine married to Thomas Seigh; and son, Lawrence Gojmerac married to the former Susan Harbaugh, both of Johnstown.  Also survived by grandchildren, Ben, Jacob and girlfriend Samantha, Joseph, Aaron and girlfriend Alexis, Rebecca and boyfriend Ryan, Stacey and husband Tyler Brucker, Kimberly and husband Ryan Dengler, and Michael and wife Andrea; great grandchildren, Bentley, Mayley and Dakota.  A brother of James Zubal married to the former Ilona Stoyka, Johnstown; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Gojmerac; and brothers-in-law, Ray Gojmerac and William Dembowski; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Retired employee for the former Troy Laundry and Kay Artley.  She was also a cleaning lady at the former St. Rochus Catholic Church.  A lifetime member of the CFU Lodge 5 in Cambria City.  She enjoyed lottery ticket scratch-offs, watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers; but mostly enjoyed going to various events of her grandchildren.  A member of Resurrection Parish, where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. George M. Gulash.  Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc.
