Francis G. Ozog

OZOG – Francis G., 79; Richland Township, passed away peacefully at home October 25, 2018.  Born May 16, 1939 in Johnstown; son of John and Anne (Mrgala) Ozog.  Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Edward Ozog.  Survived by his loving and caring wife of 52 years, Loretta (Edmonds) Ozog, Richland Township; and children, Lisa M. (Dr. Rashid Levieddin) Potomac, MD; Therese A. (Thomas Moran) Richland Township; Francis J. Ozog (Kelley Peters) Richland Township; and Maribeth Ozog Marquette, MI.  Also survived by grandchildren, Elisha, Joey, David, Joshua, Jacob, Sammy Levieddin; Salena and Anthony T. Moran; and Samantha and Emily Peters.  A brother of Rita Ozog of Johnstown; and also survived by "adopted family", George M. Gulash and Dr. Brian and Renee Ahlstrom.  U.S. Army and Army Reserve veteran.  Served the Johnstown community as owner and Funeral Director of the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., in Cambria City.  He was a man humbly dedicated to his family, his faith and the many families he served.  He was the last surviving charter members of the West End Lions Club. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 29, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Resurrection Parish the Rev. George M. Gulash.  Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends will be received Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street; where West End Lions Club will have service at 7pm.  Donations may be made to Resurrection Parish Building Fund in Fran’s memory.  The family would like to thank Interim Hospice for their caring and compassionate staff.  Condolences may be sent at fgozogfuneralhome.com
