PAROS - Francis J., “Frank”, 84; Johnstown, passed away at Laurel View Village, April 7, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Born December 2, 1934 in Johnstown, son of Joseph and Lena Paros. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, John Paros, in infancy and Joseph Paros. Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Carolyn (Voytas) Paros, Johnstown; and these children, John F. and wife Debra (Hrabosky) Johnstown; Francis M. and wife Marilee (Webb) Jupiter, FL; Daniel T. and wife Pamela (Mikolic) Johnstown; Carole F. and husband Daniel Larry, Hummelstown, PA; James B. Paros, Jupiter, FL; Joseph M. Paros (Danielle), Johnstown; and Debra M. and husband Joseph Flori, Windber, PA. Also survived by grandchildren, Elizabeth A. Paros, Jonathan M. Paros (Latitia), Bradley Paros, Frankie Paros (Nicole), Kaylee Paros, Katheryn G. Paros, Matthew R. Paros, Joshua D. Paros, Andrew M. Paros, Daniel M. Lauria (Leanna), Michael F. Lauria (fiancée Brittany), Karalyn J. Stamathis (Andrew), Joseph D. (fiancée Allison), Angela R. Larry, Anthony J. Larry, Vanessa L. Flori, Nico A. Flori, Gino J. Flori, and Marco D. Flori; and great grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Briella and Evelina. Frank was a retired Radiologic Technologist for multiple hospitals, with 50 years of dedicated service, and a member of American Society of Radiologic Technologists. He was a very caring, generous and encouraging brother, husband, father and grand-father. He enjoyed family excursions and baseball game trips with grandchildren and family members. He had a love for photography and was affectionately nicknamed, “Paparazzi”. He was also an avid coin collector. Past president of the First Slovak Band Hall. A lifelong member of the former St. Stephen Catholic Church and Holy Name Society, and member of Resurrection Parish, where funeral Mass will be held, 10:00 a.m. Friday, the Rev. David Peles and Rev. Lawrence Lacovic co-celebrants. Committal will take place at Grandview Mausoleum. Friends received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.
