FRATRICH - Frank M., 68; of Seward, passed away May 2, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, following his 9-year battle with a spinal cord injury. Born July 11, 1956 in Johnstown, son of Edward Sr. and Helen B. (Ruis) Fratrich. Preceded in death by parents; in-laws Thomas and Norma (Miller) Fabina, as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Survived by loving wife, of 31 years, Cheryl (Fabina) Fratrich; daughter, Nicole Fratrich, of Seward. Also survived by brothers, Edward Fratrich Jr., and Stephen Fratrich, of Seward; and loyal canine snack buddy, Reese. Frank worked 42 years in construction, retiring from Major Builders, Inc. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and watching westerns. He was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, where he plowed snow. He was a Knights of Columbus #954 All Saints Assembly, 4th degree member. Member of CFU lodge #5. The family expresses gratitude to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, IRMC, Seward Volunteer Fire Department, Vantage Physical Therapy, Penn Home Health, West End and Citizen's Ambulance services. Friends received Tuesday, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Seward, Rev. John J. Harrold, celebrant. Committal will follow at Grandview Mausoleum.
