Frank D. Gorchesky

GORCHESKY - Frank, D.  63, Johnstown, died April 20, 2022, at home. Born October 27, 1958 in Johnstown, son of the late Frank J. (Bumper) Gorchesky and Jennie M. (Draksler) Gorchesky.  Proceeded in death by parents, Sisters Joan Krieger and Patricia Abernethy, nephew Neil P. Gorchesky and nieces, Cathy Hayduk Rivas and Theresa Hayduk. Survived by brother Daniel J. Gorchesky and wife Donna Vargo Gorchesky of Kyle, TX. Nephew Douglas J. Abernethy and wife Courtney Huddleston Abernethy of Austin, TX; Nieces:  Lisa Abernethy Romano and husband Lorenzo Romano of Fort Pierce, FL; Lauren Gorchesky Aston and husband Scott of Leander, TX; Diane Hayduk York and Beth Ann Hayduk Diaz of Cary, NC.  Great nieces and nephews: Brittany Abernethy, Preston Abernethy, Mitch Abernethy, Christopher Diaz and Madison Aston. Great Great Nieces & nephew: Riley, Devon and Johnny Martinez.  Frank also had many lifelong cherished friendships! He was retired from Beacon Supply where he he worked 43 years doing inside sales. Frank was an avid hunter and fishermen and loved hunting and hiking on Ragers Mountain, and a member of St. Therese’ Catholic Church in Johnstown. A service will be held at the family’s convenience.
