ROLLEY – Frank A. Jr., 79; Pittsburgh, formerly of Johnstown; passed away on March 13, 2026 at the VA Hospital in Aspinwall, PA. Born October 18, 1946 in Johnstown, son of Frank A. Sr. and Virginia (Forsythe) Rolley. Preceded in death by parents; son, Frank Anthony Rolley III; brothers, Michael, Thomas, Edward; and sisters, Nora Yeager, Ida Belle Callis, Virginia Gibson and Betty Ruth Peters and faithful companion and beloved dog, "Brandon". Survived by loving wife, of 56 years, Evelyn (Kerestesy) Rolley of Pittsburgh; daughter, Caula married to John P. Barley of Johnstown; son, Scott Rolley and wife Jill of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, MacKenzie (Jake) Stretch; Adam Rolley, Luke Rolley, John Michael Barley, Abigail Barley and Lindsay Rolley; and great granddaughter, Charlotte. A brother of: Mary Jayne Boring of Virginia; Katherine Cosner (Dean) of Maryland; Penny Rolley (Neva) of New Florence; and William Rolley of South Carolina. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, special friends, Robert “Bob” Rolley and Clinton “Butch” Bouch. Frank was a U.S. Marine serving in the Vietnam War, with over 9 years of service, and earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Post 155. He was a former employee of both, U.S. Steel Corp. and later retired from the Seward Power Plant. A member of Christ the Saviour Cathedral, where Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m., the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Robert A. Buczak and Very Rev. Protopresbyter John Brancho Co-Celebrants. Committal will follow at Christ the Saviour Cemetery in Johnstown, where the Conemaugh Valley Detachment 287 Marine Corps League Ritual Team will hold military honors. Frank cherished spending time with his beloved family and enjoyed working in his woodshop, working around his home and helping others. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved his Pittsburgh Steeler football Sundays. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Friends received Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where Panachida Service will be held at 3:00 p.m.
