George A. Antonikas

ANTONIKAS – George A., 94; of Johnstown passed away at home on October 15, 2022. Born January 3, 1928 in Wierton, WV.  He is the son of Andrew and Mary (Kluckovich) Antonikas. Proceeded in death by parents; brother, Anthony Antonikas; sisters, Catherine Odgers and Gloria Molchany. Survived by his wife, of 69 years, Dorothy (Golias) Antonikas; daughters, Sharon Delic married to John of Johnstown, Diane Tremblay married to Pierre of Cranberry, and Debora Lomago married to Jon of Pittsburgh. Also survived by grandchildren, Joseph Delic (Johanna), Christopher Tremblay (Elizabeth), Justin Delic and Nicholas Lomago (Jazmin); Survived by brother, Chris Antonikas of Delmont; and sisters, Barbara Fatula and Ann Gracik, both of Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.  Retired employee for Bethlehem Steel Corp.  George was an avid and accomplished golfer. He adored his family and was known as “Mr. Fix-it”.  A member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m., the Franciscan Friars OFM Conv.  Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at the Francis G.
