George Roman Jr., age 75, of Wilmington, DE passed away on July 13, 2023 at his home. He was born and raised in Johnstown, PA by his parents, George Sr. and Catherine Winarchick Roman. George earned his Bachelors Degree at Pittsburgh University in Electrical Engineering. He then worked as an Electrical Engineer for Dupont for over 35 years. George enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, and golfing. He was well known for being a jack of all trades. He is survived by his wife, Janet M. Roman, 2 children; Christopher Roman, and Angela Boyd, son-in-law, Douglas Boyd, 2 siblings; Kathleen and Theodore Roman; and 2 grandchildren; Connor William Boyd,and Logan Christopher Boyd. A viewing for George will take place on Tuesday, July 18th from 2:00-3:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00PM. An addition viewing will be held at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, 710 Broad St, Johnstown, PA on Thursday, July 20 starting at 11AM, followed by a service at 2PM.
