Harvey C. Kline, Jr.

KLINE – Harvey C., Jr., 75, of Johnstown, died June 21, 2024, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born September 21, 1948, in Johnstown the son of Harvey C., Sr. and Louella (Boring) Kline. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna (Makin) Kline; sister, Alice Crosson.  Survived by his loving children, Bryan, married to Sally (Brush) Kline; and Carrie Patrick; grandchildren: Samantha, Sydney, and Michael; and great-granddaughter, Kylie; brother, Bruce married to Rhonda (Locher) Kline; stepsisters: Sharon (Richard) Miller; Bernie (Tom) Crotzer; Cheryl (John) Teeter; and Mary Crowder; and stepbrother, Larry (Sue) Lowes. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his extended West End and EMS family.  Harvey was a paramedic at West End Ambulance Service where he started in 1976. Many in the EMS community know Harvey as a great mentor who helped them throughout their careers. During his years at West End, he also worked at Bethlehem Steel, Lee Hospital and Conemaugh Hospital. Harvey was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan, he loved hunting, fishing (especially his trips to Erie), and his coffee and donuts. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.  Friends will be received Friday from 2 – 6 p.m. at 1st Summit Arena at Cambria County War Memorial where funeral service will be held at 6 p.m.  The family is being served by the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc.
