KUTCHMA - Helen, 87; Cambria City, passed away November 17, 2019 at the Atrium Manor. Born June 18, 1932 in Johnstown, daughter of Gregor and Helen (Dutko) Molchan. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joe “Muskie” Kutchma; son, Joseph G. Kutchma; grandson, Jake Kutchma; son-in-law, Frank Dziagwa Jr., sisters, Mary Podplesky, Elizabeth Johnston, Ann Huncharik; and brothers, John, Steve, Pete, Mike and George Molchan. Survived by daughter, Deborah Dziagwa; son, Robert Kutchma and wife Lisa; and daughter-in-law, Charlotte Bowden. Also survived by grandchildren, Richard Dziagwa and companion, Courtney Stefanka; Gregory Kutchma and wife, Carrie; Joshua, Ryan, Matthew, Tyler, Joanna Kutchma; Andrew and Noel Vellekamp; and Andrew Stefanka; and great grandchildren, Hudson and Brooks Kutchma. A brother of Nicholas Molchan and many nieces and nephews. Helen loved her family very much. She was a very caring and giving person. She also enjoyed dancing at the Senior Center, the Polka Festival, and Ethnic Festival. She always said that she made the best pickled beets and eggs and stewed tomatoes around. She is a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m., the Very Rev. Msgr. Raymond Balta. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Atrium, Heartland Hospice and Dr. Lawrence Beatty, for their care of our mother. Also, the Eucharistic Ministers and Pastor Lees for the visits that always comforted our mother. Thank you all so very much. Friends received Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Francis G.
