Helen R. Schneck

SCHNECK - Helen R., 93; Johnstown, passed away on April 2, 2023 at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  Born April 25, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of Albert and Frieda (Volk) Steeg.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Harold A. Schneck; and sister, Alice Yaskanich.  Survived by children, Harold A. Schneck and wife Carol (Mucha), Thomas Schneck and wife Joni (Kwarta), and Marlene married to Wayne Walko, all of Johnstown. Also survived by grandchildren, Drew Schneck, Annalisa Ritchey and husband Jason, Eric Schneck and wife Teresa, and Brittney Schneck; and great grandchildren, Darren Schneck and Kaylee Ritchey.  A sister of Marian Meske of Johnstown,; and survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Helen was a graduate of G.J.H.S. Class of 1948. She was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Johnstown, where friends will be received Tuesday, April 11th, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m., the Rev. Michael VanDyke. Committal will follow at Grandview Mausoleum.  Arrangements by Francis G.
