Herbert Sellers Obituary

SELLERS – Herbert R., 88, of Johnstown, died June 20, 2021, at Laurel View Village. Born December 29, 1932, in Johnstown the son of Kenneth and Kathryn (Shaffer) Sellers. Preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Robert O’Shea; and sisters-in-law, Jody Merx and Elizabeth Merx. Survived by his loving wife, Rose Anne (Merx) Sellers; brother, Donald (Judy) Sellers; and sister, Kathryn O’Shea. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Herbert was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and was retired from Penelec. Herb enjoyed being around dogs as well as hunting, fishing, and gardening. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Windber Hospice and Laurel View Village for the kind and loving care they gave to Herb.
