Irena F. (Fulicea) Jaber

JABER- Irena F., 73, of Johnstown, fell asleep in the Lord on February 4, 2024, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. Born December 14, 1950, in Diepholz, Germany. She is the daughter of Vasil Fulicea and Olga (Rachoski) Klink. She is preceded in death by parents and husband Ernest G. Jaber Jr. She is survived by children, Ernie married to Andrea of Johnstown, and Eron married to Jennifer of Louisville Kentucky; grandchildren, Ean, Ryan, Ben, and Luke; brothers, Jack Iezaru and Alex Fulicea; sister Connie (Fulicea) Kapcsos; her nephew and numerous nieces. Irena graduated from Johnstown High in 1969. After school she went on to work at BestForm for many years until deciding to get her LPN license from Johnstown Vo Tech. After receiving her certification Irena dedicated her career to her patients as a nurse, retiring from Conemaugh Hospital. Irena was such a loving, compassionate, forgiving, strong, beautiful, and independent person. She overcame many obstacles. Irena was a true fighter, who fought until the very end. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be missed by many. Friends will be received Thursday February 8, 2024, from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. A funeral service will take place at 2 P.M. Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., V. Rev. Fr. Donald E. Shadid. Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
