BOLTZ - James Phillip, 85; Berlin, PA; formerly of Johnstown, passed away October 1, 2020 at Conemaugh Hospital. Born September 12, 1935 in Johnstown, son of William and Alyce (Humphreys) Boltz. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Paul Boltz. Survived by loving wife, of 64 years, Barbara J. (Murphy) Boltz of Berlin, PA; and daughter, Mary married to John Brickner of Boiling Springs, PA; grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor and Megan; great grandchildren, Austin and Alora; and nephew Geoff Boltz. He was a United States Army Veteran. Retired Drafting and Design Department of USS Steel Corp. He was a 4th Degree, in the Knights of Columbus. A member of St. Clement Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held, 12 noon Wednesday, the Rev. William E. Rosenbaum. Committal will take place at Grandview Mausoleum, where V.F.W. Post 155 Ritual Team will bestow honors. Friends received Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.
