James F. Custer III

CUSTER - James F. III, 72; Johnstown, passed away on December 23, 2020 at Conemaugh Hospital.  Born September 17, 1948 in Johnstown, son of the late James F. Jr. and Margaret L. (Slippy) Custer.  Survived by wife, of 46 years, Patricia (Kamler) Custer, Johnstown; and children, Timothy James Custer; Tammi Brown and husband Scott; Jamie Custer and John Caton Jr., all of Johnstown; and Linda Summers of Florida.  Also survived by grandchildren, Sky, Megan, Monique, Justin, Russell, Matthew, Alyssa, Tristan, Alex, Zack and great grandson, Paul.  A brother of Darla Winters, and husband Larry of Columbus, OH.  Also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jim was retired owner of Interior Retail Specialties (IRS). An active member of Polski Dom, Minersville PNA, Slovak Band Hall, CWV and KC’s.  Friends received Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Pastor Randy Knupp.  Committal will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent at fgozogfuneralhome.com
