Obituary

RAGER – James E., went to be with the Lord April 5, 2023.  Preceded in death by his father, Edward C. Rager; grandparents, John and Mary Senish; several aunts, uncles and cousins. James is survived by his mother, Dolores Rager 92; sister, Susan; and Freddy the cat.  James was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral and he worked at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center/Duke LifePoint for 48 years.  James was also an avid bowler since he started at Billow’s Lanes in 1972! As a lefty bowler, James won many trophies and “300” rings. Friends will be received Tuesday, April 11th from 4-8 pm at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc, 710 Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held 10 am Wednesday, April 12th at St John Gualbert Cathedral, Very Rev. Matthew B. Baum officiating. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Millcreek Road.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to James’ favorite charity, the St. John Gualbert roofing project.
