James V. Sacerino, Jr.

SACERINO – James V., Jr., 71, of Johnstown was called to his Heavenly home February 21, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 23, 1948, in Johnstown the son of James V. and Mary M. (Homola) Sacerino. He is preceded in death by his father; brothers, Larry, John and Dennis; and sister, Frances P. Sacerino. He is survived by his mother, wife, Linda (Clark) Sacerino; daughter, Gina Bosley; sister, Lois, wife of August Sottile; and brother, David Sacerino. Also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and his fury companion, Lucky. James was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He will be remembered for fighting the hard fight against his 11 year battle with cancer. There will be no visitation for James however, family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at St. Clare of Assisi Church 10 a.m. Friday, Fr. George Gulash. Committal will take place at St. Anthony Cemetery.  The family is being served by the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad St.
