James C. Thomas

THOMAS – James C., 76, of Johnstown, passed away January 13, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. Born February 6, 1949, in Johnstown, the son of Charles and Mary (Pasierb) Thomas. Preceded in death by parents; and his loving wife of 57 years, Jane A. (Thompson) Thomas. Survived by his loving children, Jeffrey (Jodi Blasco), David (Beth Harkelroad), Missy Wincer (Matt) and Alison Luprek (John); grandchildren, Ashlynn Henry (Adam), Brooklynn Thomas, Apryl Wincer (fiancé Spencer Pearson), Branden Wincer, Karla Luprek, Kayla McMunn (Jacob), and Noah Luprek (fiancé Sydney Thomas); great grandchildren, Benjamin McMunn and Caleb McMunn; siblings, Dennis (Diane) Thomas, and Cindy (Larry) Utnik; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. James enjoyed spending his time camping, collecting model trains, and most importantly, spending time with his family. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will truly be missed by many. Friends will be received Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Committal will take place at a later date.
