Jane Cowan-Kassick

COWAN-KASSICK, Jane 91; Wyomissing, PA; formerly of Johnstown.  Passed away on March 1, 2022 at Columbia Cottage in Wyomissing. Born October 15, 1930 in Johnstown, daughter of Julius A. and Mary M. (Bodenschatz) Rosage. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Mary Lynn Cowan-Grover; first husband, Louis J. Cowan and second husband, John Kassick; sisters, Sr. Marcia “Delores” Rosage, Bernadine Symon, Gertrude Solomon, Rose Cochran, Jean Cauffiel, Florence Cowan-Marron; and brother Jim Rosage.  Survived by children, Jeffrey Cowan and wife Helen, Carlisle, PA; Gregory Cowan and wife Connie Kwee, Singapore; Becky Grandinetti and husband Saul, Sinking Spring, PA; Ken Cowan and fiancé Anne Longin, Birdsboro, PA; and Amy Cowan and husband Eddie Prendergast, Summersville, WV.  Also survived by grandchildren, Louis, Adam, Joshua, Sarah, Saul, Eric, Jake, and Evan and thirteen great grandchildren.  A sister of William Rosage and John Rosage.  Jane was a former aide worker at Lutheran Home of Johnstown.  A member of St. Clement Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 12, 2022, Rev. William Rosenbaum celebrant.  Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Friday March 11, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Francis G.
