Janet R. McGuirk

McGUIRK - Janet R., 93; Brownstown, passed away on July 18, 2025.  Born September 26, 1931 in Johnstown, daughter of Stanley and Irene (Riek) Steinkirchner.  Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Marie Diehl.  Survived by loving husband, of nearly 74 years, Robert W. McGuirk; and their children: Robert K. McGuirk; Michael S. and wife Peggy; Marlene Kessler and husband Wayne; and Nancy Vliet and husband Russ; all of Johnstown.  Also survived by grandchildren: Matthew, Jeffrey, Katie, Christopher, Daniel, Kayla, Michael, Zachary, Melissa and Louis; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Janet was a lifelong member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Brownstown Boro., where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly V.F. Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.
