Joan M. (Fecko) Daloni

DALONI – Joan M., 87, of West Middlesex, PA, formerly of Johnstown, PA passed away April 21, 2024, at St. John XXIII Nursing Home in Hermitage, PA. She was born June 17, 1936, in Johnstown and is preceded in death by parents, Michael and Anna (Luka) Fecko; loving husband, Peter A. Daloni; brothers, John Fecko and Michael Fecko; and sister, Dorothy (Fecko) Balint.

She is survived by brother Richard Fecko and wife, Karen (McLain) Fecko; son, Peter M. Daloni, M.D., and wife Emily (Cole) Daloni; and grandchildren Alexis Daloni and partner Frank Correa; Peter M. Daloni, Jr. and partner Ashley Smith; Dominick S. Daloni and wife Julia Metelsky; and John J. Daloni and wife, Erin Burke; and great-grandchildren Winifred L. Daloni, Annabelle Smith, Cooper Smith, Joan M. Daloni, Robert E. Daloni, and Giorgio D. Daloni-Metelsky. 

Joan was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Catholic Church where she was an active parishioner and member of the choir. She was an avid card player who also enjoyed baking cookies and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 pm Friday, April 26 at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 am Saturday at Resurrection Catholic Church with Father George Gulash officiating. Internment and committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. John XXIII Nursing Home, 2250 Shenango Valley Fwy., Hermitage, PA 16148, in memory of Joan.
