Joan (Chesney) Miske

MISKE – Joan, also known as Joann Miske to her husband of 62 years Michael Miske, Jr.  Joan died May 6, 2021, at home with her family. Born December 1, 1937, in Johnstown the daughter of John and Stella (Carvella) Chesney.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Miske, Jr.; granddaughter, Joni; brother, Bud; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Miske. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Bill) Goss; and son, Michael Miske III, (Dianna), all of Johnstown; 7 grandchildren: Amy (Bill), Jason (Alicia), Rebecca (Louis), and Bill, Jr.; and 8 great-grandchildren: Gavin, Dilan, Hunter, Billy, Mea, Alex, Eliot, and Ava. At Joan’s request there will be no viewing with private services held at the convenience of the family. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations can be directed to the Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive, Johnstown, PA 15904, in memory of Joan. The family is being served by the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street.
