Joann L. (Daroczy) Gornick

GORNICK - Joann L., “Jo”, 77, of Johnstown, passed away August 5, 2021 at Good Samaritan Care Center.  Born February 16, 1944 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Eliza (Howlett) Daroczy.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Stanley “Stush” Gornick Jr.; sisters, Susana Janakovich and Sharon Filat.  Survived by sisters, Etta Solecki and husband Edward, Johnstown; and Lynn “Doll” Daroczy, East Stroudsburg, PA. Also survived by 6 nieces, 6 great nieces and nephew, 6 great great nieces and nephews, and additional family members.  Friends received Monday from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12 noon, at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.  Committal will follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
