Joanne (Sebes) Sabo

SABO (SEBES) – Joanne, 77; formerly of Johnstown passed away on September 19, 2022, at Costal Carolina Hospital in South Carolina. Born January 22, 1945 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph Jr. and Catherine (Barczak) Sebes. Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by loving sister; Judith Fugal married to Jack Fugal of South Carolina. Joanne was a graduate of Bishop McCort High School, Cambria Rowe Business College and formerly employed by the University of Pittsburgh. She held a special place in her heart for the “Pennsylvania Prolife Federation” and “Food for the Poor”. Where she was an active contributor for many years. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made in memory of Joanne to the Pennsylvania Pro-life Federation on their website at https://www.paprolife.org/ or the Food for the Poor at www.foodforthepoor.org. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Friday the 30th of September by the Very Rev, Matthew B. Baum, VF.  Followed by a committal service at Grandview Cemetery.
