Bocko – John J., 74; passed away January 6 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Catherine Bocko; and brother-in-law Raymond Motter. He is survived by his sister Susan (Bocko) Motter, one niece, five nephews and cousins. John retired from Riverside Market in Seward from their meat department as a lifelong butcher. John was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener, growing spectacular flowers every year from the previous year’s harvested seeds. John was a caring and loving son who supported his mother for 38 years after the early passing of his father. He will truly be missed. Parastas will be held by Father Fariss of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church at 2 p.m at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Saturday January 18 followed by friends being received after the service through 4:30 p.m. at the Ozog funeral home. Burial in Grandview Cemetery will be private.
