KOVACS – John Stephen, 86; Johnstown, passed away July 24, 2020 at Conemaugh Hospital. Born February 20, 1934 in Johnstown, son of Stephen and Mary (Radak) Kovacs. Preceded in death by parents; and sisters, Josephine DeDea and Margaret Holbay. Survived by sister Mary Curtis of Cincinnati, OH. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. John was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Retired employee for Bethlehem Steel Corp. A member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Committal will take place at St. Stephen Cemetery. Arrangements by Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.
