John J. Kuchinsky Jr.

KUCHINSKY - John J., 87; Johnstown, passed away on November 9, 2021 at Conemaugh Hospital.  Born September 11, 1934 in Johnstown, son of John J. Sr. and Verna A. (Mehak) Kuchinsky.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mary L. Chanda and Dolores Shostek; brothers, Ronald E. and William E. Kuchinsky; and ex-wife, Dorothy (Spisak) Kuchinsky.  Survived by children, John J. Kuchinsky III and wife Trish, Toledo, OH; David Kuchinsky, Columbus, OH; and Dorothy Clark, Johnstown; 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.  A brother of Verna Mae Suttmiller (Jerry) of Westlake, OH.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  A U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.  Retired employee for the U.S. Postal Service.  A member of Resurrection Parish, where Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. George M. Gulash.  Committal will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.  Friends received Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.
