Joseph B. Bunda

BUNDA – Joseph B., 93, of Johnstown passed away May 11, 2020, at his home. Born March 4, 1927, in Johnstown the son of Stephen and Mary (Pavelka) Bunda. Preceded in death by his parents; and loving wife, Margaret M. (Perdue) Bunda. He is survived by his loving daughter Carol, wife of Cheryl Meadows with whom Joseph lived; and son and daughter, Kenneth and Patricia Bunda. Also survived by grandson, Drew and 2 great-grandchildren. Joseph was a member of Resurrection Parish.  He was a US Army Veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific and was also one of the first testers of the Atomic Bomb. A private graveside service will be held for the family at Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum with Fr. George M. Gulash officiating. The family is being served by the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc. 710 Broad Street.
