SETH – Joseph E. Jr., 91, of Johnstown, passed away June 18, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born February 7, 1935, in Johnstown, the son of the late Joseph E. and Helen (Bellak) Seth. Preceded in death by parents; son, Michael J. Seth; granddaughter, Danielle; and sister-in-law, Margaret Seth. Survived by his loving wife, Darla (Cox) Seth; children, Christine Summers, Patricia (Kevin) Bracken, and Susan Snyder; stepchildren, Michele (Chuck) Finella, Nicole (Joe) Stahl, and Neil (Danielle) Rosko; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Seth; and numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph was a proud United States Army veteran who answered the call to serve his country at the age of 18. He faithfully served for three years, carrying with him a deep sense of patriotism and dedication throughout his life. Following his military service, Joseph began a long and successful career with GTE Verizon, where he worked diligently until his retirement. Joseph found joy in life's simple pleasures and treasured the time he spent with family, friends, and his community. In his younger years, he was an avid bowler and proudly participated in the GTE Bowling League. He also enjoyed spending time fishing and could often be found taking his daily walks around the neighborhood, appreciating the outdoors and the familiar faces he met along the way. Above all, Joseph was a loving and kind man whose warmth, friendship, and presence touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Friends will be received on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a memorial visitation. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fr. Sean K. Code. Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
