Kathryn M. (Forish) Legat

LEGAT – Kathryn M., 95, of Johnstown died April 22, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 9, 1925, in Johnstown the daughter of John and Mary (Ulicni) Forish. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew A. Legat, Sr.; sisters: Elizabeth (Alfred) Strozak, Anna (Charles) Pudliner, Frances Kuchpa, and Mary Forish; and brothers: Andrew, Stephen, George (Sophie), Joseph, and John Forish. She is survived by a son, Andrew A. Legat, Jr., and Kathleen Legat, both of Johnstown. Kathryn was a lifetime member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Society and St. Francis Oremas.  A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street. Committal will be held at St. Francis Church Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the Allegheny Lutheran Home for the kind and loving care they gave to Kathryn while she was there.
