Kevin Gerard Gritzer

GRITZER – Kevin Gerard, 45, passed away September 15, 2021 in Somerset County. Born September 8, 1976. Son of John M. and Doris (Friedman) Gritzer. Preceded in death by his infant brother, Gregory, paternal grandparents, Michael and Helen Gritzer, and maternal grandparents, Michael and Margaret Friedman. Survived by mother Doris, father John and twin brother Darren (Cheri) of Wexford, PA. Also survived by his aunts and uncle Patricia Marshall, Pat Gritzer and Robert (Evelyn) Gritzer. Graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School in 1994 and Franklin and Marshall College in 1998. Employed at Andover Brokerage Firm, New York City. Currently a realtor and investor in New York City and Pittsburgh, PA. Fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. Enjoyed the out of doors, snowboarding, hiking, fishing and boating. He was generous and helpful to all who needed him, and loved by all who knew him. Kevin lived his faith. He will be forever loved and missed by family and numerous friends. Family and friends will be received at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street on Sunday, September 19th from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church on Monday, September 20th at 10 a.m. , Fr. Bernard Karmanocky, O.F.M celebrant. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at St. Therese Church, 536 Decker Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15906, in memory of Kevin.
