Kyler Christopher Baird

BAIRD—Kyler Christopher; 21, of Homer City, passed away April 11, 2020. Born April 2, 1999 in Johnstown, son of Christopher Baird and Kristy (Stewart) Swintosky.  Survived by father, Christopher Baird and wife Jennifer; mother Kristy Swintosky and husband Shawn; grandparents; Frank and Linda Stewart; and Albert and Roberta Baird.  Also survived by brothers, Noah Swintosky and James Kordish; Aunt, Kelly Montanti (Dennis); and uncles, Chad Stewart, Terry Baird (Leah), Steve Baird (Heather), and Shawn Baird (Kara); and numerous cousins.  Graduate from United High School Class of 2017. Ky was active in many sports, and played for several hockey teams and organizations such as, Greater Johnstown High School, Bishop McCort H.S., Johnstown Warriors, Johnstown Jets and others.  He played lacrosse for East Hills Rec. League and baseball for United High School and United Legion.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He will be also sadly missed by all those who knew him, especially his hockey families, players and coaches.  Due to the coronavirus and social distancing regulations, Private services will be held for the family.
